PAUL FINIGAN, JD | Chief Executive Officer

Paul brings to Continuum almost 30 years of senior executive experience with health care companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 corporations.  Prior to joining Continuum, Paul most recently served as Chairman of  a leading regional home care agency based in Southern New England.  Previously, he led the financial turn-around and successful sale of CuraGen Corporation, a publicly-traded biotech firm.  Earlier in his career, Paul was a member of the founding management teams at Lumenos Corporation, a consumer-directed health care company and Value Health, Inc., a specialty managed Care Company.  His prior experience also includes positions with CIGNA Corporation, U.S. Healthcare and EDS Corporation.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Villanova University and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.


DINO MENCARINI, PT | Director of Clinical Practice

Dino is a practicing home care Physical Therapist with over 30 years’ experience in clinical management, serving the geriatric population. In addition to treating patients, he has supervised program managers, large professional staffs, budgeting, and coordinating with client owners/operators. Dino has deep expertise monitoring daily staffing needs and developing alternatives that best meet the clinical needs of the patients. Dino’s experience also includes clinical management and academic teaching experience in rehabilitation with nationally recognized therapy programs. Prior to earning a B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut, he worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a variety of clinical settings.


WILLIAM L. CARROLL, M.D., J.D. | Medical Director

As Continuum’s Medical Director, Bill is involved with clinical program development and oversight, and advises our clinical team.  Bill is a Philadelphia native and a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and The Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.  He has maintained a full-time family medicine practice in Newtown-Edgmont, Delaware County, Pennsylvania for over two decades, and served the Marple-Newtown School system as the school system physician for two decades.  In addition, he serves both the Devereux Foundation, and the Melmark Foundation, in both a clinical capacity and as Medical Director, caring for patients with disabilities.  Bill is on active staff at all of the Main Line hospitals, including Paoli, Memorial Hospital, Lankenau Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Riddle Memorial Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Association, and The American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP).  He is also Board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and completed a two- year Physician Leadership Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been acknowledged as a “Top Doctor” by Main Line Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine and U.S. News & World Report. Bill also received a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law.


TIM RIMMER | Financial Director

Tim Rimmer, a deeply experienced health care executive, brings strong financial skills and two decades of leadership in all areas of health care. Tim’s expertise includes strategic planning, finance, and management. With his 20-years of experience, he has led $39-million medical practice, hospitals, and ACOs in Eastern PA, he leads our strategic efforts to adapt to expected growth and to meet our current and coming challenges. Tim is a graduate of St. Joseph University with a degree in Accounting, and further studies in Healthcare Administration.


RICHARD GORMLEY|  Member, Board of Directors

Richard brings to Continuum over 25 years of rich experience and specialized knowledge of healthcare recruitment. He has distinguished himself, both regionally and nationally, for his work recruiting physicians and healthcare staff in all aspects of the health care industry including hospitals, home health agencies, university based systems, as well as the traditional private practice model. His clients include the Mayo Health System, the University of Pittsburgh Health System, Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Richard earned his BA in Management Operations from the Villanova University School of Business, and pursued graduate work at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

MOLLY KNORR | Senior Vice President, UnitedHealthcare

Molly Knorr brings over 25 years of senior executive experience in managed care, with a proven track record in delivering exceptional financial performance. She joined UnitedHealthcare in January 2009 to lead the development and implementation of key medical cost management initiatives and trend mitigation strategies.  Previously, she served as Vice President of National Networks, Contracting & Strategy at Aetna, Inc. where she was responsible for a broad range of functions including negotiation and achievement of trend targets for Aetna’s national ancillary contracts. Molly’s prior experience includes managing the profitable growth of Aetna’s Northeast Region middle market segment, Market CEO of Aetna’s Maryland health plan and Vice President of Network Management for Cigna HealthCare, Inc. She is a graduate of Lafayette College and received her law degree from Widener University.  She has served on the boards of Prevent Blindness Connecticut, YWCA-Hartford Region and currently serves on the board of trustees for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.


JEFFREY HOGAN | New England Regional Manager, Rogers Benefit Group

Jeff has served as the New England Regional Manager for Rogers Benefit Group, Inc., a Minneapolis-based, privately held insurance marketing and benefits consulting firm for over 20 years. RBG was established in 1947, operates nationally and coordinates outsourced distribution services for national health payers. Jeff specializes in design and financing strategies for middle market health plan sponsors.  He has consulted for ACOs, provider groups and insurance carriers regarding these strategies around the country and has focused on enterprise solutions for healthcare related businesses and vendors.  Jeff also owns Consumer Consult, LLC a healthcare consulting company.  Jeff has lectured on advanced CDC implementation techniques, the technical architecture of CDC products, ACA implementation and advanced self funding techniques. He has provided expert witness services on health insurance issues and strategies. Jeff focuses on topics involving health policy, healthcare analytics and healthcare financing. Jeff earned his B.A. from Clark University.


THOMAS J. HOPKINS | Managing Director, Colchester Capital

Tom Hopkins serves as Chairman of the Advisory Council of Continuum Rehabilitation. Tom founded Colchester Capital, LLC in 2003 and currently serves as its Managing Director, where he leads all investment activities for the firm. Hopkins has over 19 years of investment banking experience at Deutsche Bank (and its predecessor Alex, Brown & Sons), Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns. He started his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert.  Hopkins brings to Continuum Rehabilitation his deep knowledge and understanding of capital formation, capital management and financial reporting, having worked on a large variety of capital raising and strategic advisory transactions for companies in a wide range of industries including the healthcare, communications, technology  and industrial sectors. His educational background includes an M.B.A. (Wharton), a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
